THE SPA: MY ULTIMATE GREENBELT EXPERIENCE

After a very tiring day of window shopping at Greenbelt, my feet are very sore that Im really craving for massage. Just in time when I passed by THE SPA in Greenbelt.

I asked the front desk if they have available slot and fortunately Im so lucky to have one since they are always full.

They showed me the way upstairs where the girl's locker area is and they gave me my robe and towel.

Well entering the SPA, if your alone you can really have a good quality time with yourself.

The ambiance is so relaxing and the staff is so polite. I immediately took a shower and after that spent minutes at the steam room.

I didnt asked if they have sauna, and I didnt see any jacuzzi as well. I only have 15 minutes to use the wet area before my massage will start so I just made my mind to just have the steam bath.

After 15 minutes I was led by the staff to the common room to have my massage. My massage is ok and definitely good. 

Having researches, The SPA also have their premier villas in some branches like in eastwood and the fort where you can have a hotel like room with private jacuzzi you can share with your partner.

I can say that THE SPA AND SURIYA are the best spa in the metro where you can say its worth your money for the relaxation plus the ambiance experience.

My quest for the best spa is still on going, that I keep researching on the internet where's my next spa stop when I saw this authentic japanese spa, SM Kenko.

Me and my sister chose the head and neck massage at that time since we both have headaches that time.

Before entering the the wet area, you need to be fully naked and the lady will give you only a hand towel while your in the wet area.

I really love the heat of their hot jacuzzi. Their jacuzzi comes with a jet massage similar to the one it has at Ace Water Spa. It gives you maximum effect of relaxation.

I also like their steam room and sauna. They have an infrared sauna that makes it very very nice. I prefer infrared sauna than old-sauna type because the smell of grass wood in infrared sauna is very relaxing.

I love it there that you can use the wet area for unlimitted time. They also have a body wash area like in Wensha, but its a self service one, so I asked my sister to scrub me after having steam.

After an hour, we decided to have our massage. Its at their lounge where theres a very wide window you can see over the streets of Manila.

The massage is quite good and I did say my headache is gone after the massage. I also like the taste of the tea they gave me.

Im always a fan of buying online coupons because its giving you biggest discounts from different stores and companies.

One day, they have a deal for only P999 where you can enjoy 60 min massage plus facial at Tocarre Spa. It sounds great and hearing Tocarre Spa is at Antel Suites, I think its worth enough and I bought the deal.

After five days, My coupon is now valid at Tocarre Spa and called them for reservation.

I arrived there just in time, and they showed me the way to the locker and wet area. On the promotion coupon, we can only use the wet area for 10 mins.. And I didnt like that.

They told me I need to pay additional fee if I want to extend the use of the wet area, and I agreed.

Their locker and wet area is nice. You will have one lady assistant while you were at the wet area.

Steam room and Sauna is quite fine (even they also have the old-sauna where you have to pour water in rocks), jacuzzi is quite ok because its not that hot..( its more on cold jacuzzi actually and Im expecting it to be hot)

It made me happy when the lady serve us free iced tea while on jacuzzi. We used the wet area for only 30mins, then after that we are led to the lounge.

We are asked to stay at the lounge while waiting for the room to be available. Okay, the lounge is quite good and relaxing but it made me bored waiting for them to go back to us after an hour. Does it took an hour to fix the room while we can see therapist running around the lounge?

So the time for my massage has come up, after waiting so long at the lounge it made me very tired and sleepy and im expecting to be well relaxed at the massage.

And then my massage started, its the softest massage I ever had in my life! like a lover just caressing my body and its not a massage at all!

I told the therapist to please put harder pressure since Im at hard massage since my body really soares. She put a bit hard but I think its only moderate, Then after "3minutes" its gone back to the original soft caress massage!

Im a bit mad and I dont want to repeat myself, so I just frown the whole shift of massage!

I think she can see my face how I frown but she didnt care to fix her massage!

And the facial they are saying? its not really facial , its just massaging your face with different kind of oils and sponges..

Well the ambiance of Tocarre Spa is quite nice, but the service of the therapists is not that satisfying!

One day, I visited Tiendesitas then suddenly it started to rain thats why I decided to enter the
Suriya Spa in Frontera Verde.  I chose the to have "Hot Stone Massage" that time because I think thats the best one for 90minute massage.

The lady led me to a room that has a private jacuzzi inside. It looks like a hotel room with a lazy boy and private jacuzzi.

I enjoyed the steam bath and jacuzzi for almost an hour while they are heating up the stones.

The room has a very relaxing music as well that will help you clear your mind. I also like their body wash and lotion in the room because you can smell and see thats not like the cheap ones.

Im already quite satisfied even I havent done with my massage yet.

The lady then knock on my door and asked me If im ready to have the massage, So I open the door and let her in.

The stone is really hot. I like it when she rub it in my back with oil. The feeling is very relaxing that I fell asleep fast.

After the massage, they gave me hot green tea which I like as well. You will also have your private time to dress up in the room and walk out if your ready.

Since then, Im always going back to Suriya if I have time.

Its also the most romantic spa for couples since they can have a hotel-room like with private jacuzzi they can share together.

Highly recommended and satisfied.

Me and my Sister decided to go to the "Myth of the Human Body Exhibit" At the fort, We felt tired that day so we decided to drop by at the nearest spa at the Global City, the NEO DAY SPA.

This spa has a good promotion since they have celebrity endorsers thats why we decided to try it.

The ambiance is quite good and their services is quite expensive. They almost have same price with other well known spa like Suirya and The Spa that services ranges from 1100+++.

So we go up second floor for the locker and wet area. They do not have a jacuzzi for everyone to use. If you want to have a jacuzzi, you need to reserve it first and pay additional 1000.

They do not have steam bath, but they have sauna. Their sauna is like the old-sauna where you have to pour water on the rocks that have been heating on the stoves. You just have 15 minutes to use the sauna and your massage will start.

Funny thing is, my sister spent 15 minutes in shower room, and Im in sauna while she is in shower.

When 15 minutes is over the lady told us to go to the massage room immediately even my sister havent gone to sauna yet because sauna is strictly 15 minutes only to be used.

Okay, I really dont like it much that they dont have a jacuzzi to use or steam room and its like your in a hurry to use the only sauna they have.

While on the massage, I think the therapist is just giving me a soft massage even I chose the

"Deep Tissue Massage" so I can have hard massage. She asked me if the pressure is okay, and I told her to make it more harder because I cant hardly feel anything,

So she made it a little bit harder for the first 10minutes, then after that gone back to the soft massage where you can hardly feel anything.

I'm so tired to repeat myself again to tell her it should be harder that I might gone rude.

After our massage, I asked my sister how's her massage and we had the same opinion! Even her own therapist have a very soft massage.

We really didnt get what we paid for at Neo Spa spending more than a thousand per one service which is really not satisfying.

We concluded that we can have the better massage that night if we call the home service which is only 250 per hour!

Ok, even my first experience at Wensha Pasay Branch is not good, I still decided to come back and give them the second chance.

Entering the Spa, I got my two fingers crossed hoping that this time everything will turn out good.

This time I decided to have the PROMO 7 with the "BODY MASSAGE AND BODY WASH for only P800." The front desk gave us our locker keys upon checking-in, and guess what? THEY GAVE US THE HIGHEST LOCKER IN THE AREA.

We need to carry a ladder, then climb on it for us to be able to access out lockers. Its really unconvenient that I almost fell.

After putting our things in the locker, We decided to freshen up ourselves by using the sauna and steam room. We stayed in the wet area for about an hour and then I decided to have my BODY WASH. I asked the staff in the wet area, where is the girl who is doing the BODY WASH, and she told me that the girl already went home.

I said, "What?? Why you will accept me getting this promo if she already got home?" The staff replied that they are looking for me in the wet area 30 minutes ago before the girl went home, but maybe Iam in the dining area thats why they didnt found me.

I said, "Are you kidding me? Im here at the wet area for more than an hour now!" I really cant understand they excuses, and they decided to call the girl back . Fine I had my body wash but I waited more than 30minutes before the girl came back to the spa.

Thats really not a good start again for Wensha Pasay branch second chance. That time I just expect the best for last , that my massage should take away all negative experience I had again with their branch.

So its my my turn to have my full body massage. At first it fine, but then after 15minutes, the therapist is sleeping on me! Gosh! I can feel her stopping in the massage from time to time and then falling asleep.

Because of that I really not enjoyed the massage and gave her no tip at all! I do not know why they have a very poor customer service at Wensha Pasay! FROM THAT MOMENT I SAID TO MYSELF NOT TO GO BACK AT WENSHA PASAY, AND JSUT GO IN WENSHA TIMOG INSTEAD!!!

SECOND STOP: WENSHA PASAY BRANCH FIRST VISIT

Having my first and nice experience at Wensha Timog I decided to visit their Pasay branch because Ive heard this branch is much bigger.

I'm so excited when we got there at Pasay branch, Its definitely bigger than Timog branch. They also have a gym you can use in your stay in the Spa.

The dining area is much bigger, and more foods are being offered at the buffet. The wet area is much bigger too, with pool chairs.

Okay, since I had the best Wensha experience all the time in Timog, I expected to Wensha Pasay experience the same as well. But something has gone wrong.

My first experience in Wensha Pasay, I chose to have the "VENTUSA" massage for P880. Massage went did quite fine but not as good as Timog therapist ( thats why I havent fell asleep).

Im not that satisfied with the massage and I asked them If i can have another full body massage, but they refused and said that maybe I will got too much massage on my back if they do that which is bad.

Instead, they recommended to upgrade my body massage to their "PROMO 4" which says

 "VENTUSA AND FOOT MASSAGE FOR ONLY P1188"..

I said OK, I already paid 880 earlier so it means I will just add 308 and have my foot massage. So I had my foot massage done, and Im quite satisfied now with the massage.

When we are about to check out, Im shocked that they are asking me additional P600 for the foot massage instead of the P308 they said earlier for the package.

Talked to the receptionist, I informed her about the package the therapist told me and how it goes, and she is NOT aware how the package goes. It ends up asking their supervisor who said that the package cannot be upgraded because in PROMO 4, VENTUSA AND FOOT MASSAGE SHOULD BE DONE AT THE SAME TIME WITH 2 THERAPIST.

I then asked them, why they told me to upgrade my body massage to that promo when it shouldnt be upgraded. Well, They just apologise, said that the therapist is just new and give me wrong information, they really cant do anything about it and I need to pay for the P600.

I'm really disappointed about what happened so I end up cancelling all the "TIP" i gave to the therapist.

FIRST SPOT: WENSHA TIMOG

Wensha is the most popular 24-hour spa here in the Metro. If you want to have a full relaxation and money worth services, WENSHA TIMOG is one of the recommended SPAS.

For as low as P680, you can enjoy 60minute massage, with 6hours spa accomodation with free buffet and unlimitted use of the wet area (jacuzzi, sauna, shower, steam).

Im also a fan of their "BODY WASH" that is better than body scrub. For only P190 pesos, you can see how all your dead skin cells being washed away that gives you more fairer skin after.

You can also bring any scrub materials or hair treatment you want to use while on their wet area! I used to bring hotoil or cellophane treatment while enjoying their steam bath.

When it comes to massage, WENSHA TIMOG BRANCH therapists are definitely the best.

Since I have been visiting almost all the SPA here in the metro, Im alsways asking them to give me a hard massage. So when the therapist asked me if I want hard or moderate massage, I said hard..

But then when she do it hard, I really cant stand it or breathe fine, so I asked her to just have it moderate.

I think thats how well experienced their therapist are.

Timog branch is the main branch of WENSHA thats why I think all the best and senior staffs are there.
